Whether they’re filled with a cheese spread, salmon, ham, tuna, grated cheese or some other delicious filling, sandwiches are always a good party finger food idea.
Party sandwiches for kids are often cut into four small neat triangles, or fingers, with the crusts cut off; but if you’d like to make them a little more interesting why not try using different varieties of bread or, with a cookie cutter, cut them into fun shapes such as butterflies, flowers, hearts, stars, bunnies, cats, dogs, trucks or monsters. The shapes could even tie in with a kids party theme.
Party food tip: don’t overfill sandwiches, and as they dry out quite quickly remember to cover them with aluminum foil until needed.
